Electroencephalography (EEG) and Quantitative Electroencephalography (qEEG)

Electroencephalography (EEG) and Quantitative Electroencephalography (qEEG)

  • Integrate and synchronize EEG data with kinematic, EMG, eye-tracking, force and digital video data with The MotionMonitor.
  • Connect directly via USB to BioSemi Active 2 EEG units and MindMedia NeXus qEEG units.
  • Use an EEG or qEEG signal as a "chasing" cursor and present audio or visual cues in 1,2, or 3-Dimensional virtual enviroments. Or simply record EEG data during an interactive biofeedback training.
  • Create use-defined events to indentify points of interest within EEG data. Events can be defined using any incoming data stream.
  • Start or stop data collection automatically using various triggers, eliminating the need for verbal "Start" or "Stop" cues.
  • Export multiple trials in ASCII format for further analysis.

Balance Assessment

This image shows EEG data collected during a reaching task. The subject was instructed to reach out and touch a button load cell repetitively. The kinematic, EEG, EMG, and analog data were collected synchronously within The MotionMonitor.
