The MotionMonitor™ with Optotrak offers proprietary rigid body assemblies for tracking both the position and orientation of a triad of IRED markers.  These assemblies are produced to exacting standards that eliminate the need for creation of individual rigid body definition (.rig) files.  Each triad of markers is contained on a PCB that dissipates heat for longer life.  And if there is an IRED failure, the interchangeability of sensors means that PCB's can be replaced without removing the assembly base from your subject.  Data collection can continue without re-digitizing your subject's segment endpoints, landmarks. local coordinates or virtual joint centers.
